Microsoft introduced Copilot Plus PCs as the pioneering 'AI-centric' computers globally. These advanced machines, capable of running AI tasks up to 20 times faster and 100 times more efficiently than conventional PCs, outpace a MacBook Air M3 by 58%.
Among the notable AI functionalities integrated into Copilot Plus PCs is 'Recall,' enabling users to effortlessly retrieve and interact with any content displayed on their screens using natural language.
Moreover, Copilot is receiving an innovative screen-sharing capability driven by GPT-4o. This feature empowers AI to observe, listen, comprehend user activities on their computers, and provide real-time responses to inquiries.
Apple unveiled that iOS 18 will incorporate Eye Tracking functionality, enabling users to control their iPad and iPhone solely through eye movements, thus providing a native method for device interaction.
An NPR article states that Scarlett Johansson is pursuing legal measures against OpenAI for allegedly replicating her voice for GPT-4o. Based on the article, Johansson claims that OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, attempted to secure rights to her voice in September, but she declined. Despite her refusal, Altman allegedly proceeded to replicate and utilize her voice without authorization.
